OUR
Story
Her Side
I was waiting for my hair appointment to start with the stylist who I've been going to since high school (well worth the flight to San Diego every 8 weeks, lemme tell ya), and in walks THE literal CUTEST man I've ever seen in my life. I instantly put Shelby, my stylist, and Shawna, HIS stylist, on a mission to "make this happen, queens." They put my phone number in his hair salon profile, and a couple months later, he texts.
We went on our first date when I went home next for hair, and I almost didn't go 'because guys THAT attractive are NEVER nice, or smart, or fun."
Well, a couple weeks later, the nicest, smartest, most fun, AND most attractive guy surprised me for our second date and flew to Austin for 10 hours to take me to dinner.

. . . and now we're getting married!

His Side
I was at the barbershop for what I thought was just a haircut, when a cute girl started chatting with me and my barber. When I came back a month later I found out that the cute girl left her number for me. My barber told me all about her and I was very interested, but I forgot to write her number down so I had to wait another month until my next chance to get in touch with her. I started texting her the next time I was in the barber chair, and we met up another month later for beers. We had such an awesome time that night that I didn't want to wait another two months until she came back to San Diego, so I flew to Austin shortly after to take her to dinner.
After 1.5 years of dating long distance, it was time to try Texas on for size. Nancy kept making me pretty dang happy, so I decided forever sounded nice, and proposed!

Proposal
SHE SAID "YAS!"
Eric popped the question on the morning of August 8th, 2019, while they were snorkeling in Kauai. Nancy had zero idea that this was coming on that vacation, and was so surprised and overwhelmed THAT SHE ALMOST DROWNED, Y'ALL.
Their first activity together as an engaged couple? Crushing celebratory canned cocktails on the beach at 10am. Class.
